Why custom

Fit starts with you.

A custom pattern starts from your measurements and your posture, so the garment fits from the start. That fixes what off-the-rack sizing, built around a standard body, leaves you with: paying to alter something that was never cut for you.

Your pattern stays on file. Every garment you order after the first starts from something that already knows your body. See how the process works, or read about made to measure and handmade to measure.

Wardrobe packages and offers, such as the second pair of trousers, apply to women's garments too. See wardrobe packages.

Starting prices are on the pricing page. Your final price depends on the garment and the cloth, and you will know it before anything is cut.

Questions

Women's custom clothing, answered.

Do you make custom clothing for women?

Yes. I offer suits, shirts, vests and jeans for women using the same pattern process I use for men. Your measurements and posture go into a pattern that is kept on file for every order after.

Why choose custom over off the rack?

A custom pattern starts from your body, so the shoulders, bust, waist, hips and sleeve lengths are set for you from the start. Off-the-rack sizing starts from a standard body and has to be altered after the fact.

How do I get started?

Request a fitting. We meet at the Fort Myers studio, or I come to your home or office anywhere in Southwest Florida. We choose the cloth and design together, and I take your measurements.

What do women's garments cost?

A ladies jacket starts at $595, a two-piece suit at $795, trousers at $395, a vest at $395 and a shirt at $195. The final price depends on the cloth you choose, and you will know it before anything is cut. The same offers apply as for men, including 15% off a second pair of trousers ordered with a suit.
