Custom Wedding Suits and Tuxedos in Southwest Florida

Well dressed for the day you'll always remember.

Custom suits and tuxedos for the groom, groomsmen and fathers, made to measure by master tailors and fitted in Fort Myers, or at your home or venue anywhere in Southwest Florida.

When should I order a wedding suit? Start four to six months before the date. Made to measure takes 6 to 8 weeks and handmade to measure 8 to 10, plus time for fittings. American Made takes 12 to 14 weeks, and American Made tuxedos about 16 to 20. Suits start at $1,095 and tuxedos at $1,245.

Black tie

The formal evening wedding.

A ballroom, a hotel, a ceremony at sundown. Black tie rewards a tuxedo cut for you: a jacket that closes cleanly, trousers that fall straight, and the quiet details that photograph beautifully. I will walk you through lapel style, trouser stripe and what to wear underneath so nothing is left to chance.

Suggested cloth
  • Midnight blue wool, which reads richer than black in evening light
  • Classic black wool with satin or grosgrain facings
  • Ivory or white dinner jacket for a warm-weather black-tie event

Semi-formal

The garden and ballroom suit.

Not every wedding calls for a tuxedo. A well-cut suit in the right cloth looks sharp at the ceremony and still feels like you at the reception. This is where colour, texture and a bold lining can do some of the talking.

Suggested cloth
  • Navy or charcoal worsted for a timeless look
  • Mid-grey and soft blues for afternoon ceremonies
  • A textured weave when you want depth without shine

Beach and destination

Dressed for the Gulf, not wilted by it.

Southwest Florida weddings are warm, humid and often on sand. The right answer is lighter cloth, a softer jacket and a colour that works against the water. I can come to you for fittings anywhere from Sarasota to Marco Island and everywhere in between, and I plan for the heat from the first cloth we pick.

Suggested cloth
  • Linen and linen blends for breathability
  • Tropical-weight wool that holds a crease in humidity
  • Light tans, stone, pale blue and soft cream
Country and ranch

Barn, ranch and orchard weddings.

Relaxed settings still deserve a proper fit. Think earthy colour, tactile cloth and a jacket that moves when you do. We can build a waistcoat-led look, a heritage check or a rich tweed-style texture in cloth suited to the season.

Suggested cloth
  • Earthy greens, browns and rust tones
  • Checks and herringbones with a bit of texture
  • A waistcoat to dress it up or down

Rehearsal dinner

The night before.

A rehearsal dinner is the easiest place to be a little more relaxed and a little more yourself. A sport coat in a rich colour, a crisp shirt and trousers that fit properly are all it takes. It is also a good way to start building a wardrobe you will keep wearing long after the weekend.

Suggested cloth: soft wool and cotton blends, light flannels in cooler months, and linen blends in summer.

Groomsmen and family

Everyone fitted, nobody identical.

Skip the rental counter. I can dress the whole wedding party in one coordinated palette while each person is fitted for his own body. The groom can choose the handmade-to-measure upgrade, the groomsmen made to measure, and the fathers whatever suits them best.

A custom suit is also a gift that gets worn again, long after the photographs are framed. Out-of-town groomsmen can start with a virtual consultation, and I can arrange fittings at your venue or hotel.

  • One cloth palette, individual fit for every man
  • Fathers, ring bearers and special guests included
  • Virtual consultations for out-of-town groomsmen
  • Fittings at the studio, your home or your venue

Ring bearers and little groomsmen

Tuxedos made for the smallest guys in the photos.

Boys are fitted the same way as the groom, with a pattern built from their own measurements, so the jacket hangs right and the trousers sit where they should. Matched to the wedding party's palette, and made in time for the day.

Suits from $1,095, tuxedos from $1,245

Your final price depends on the cloth and details you choose, and you will know it before anything is cut. See the handmade upgrade or the full pricing.

Ordering for the wedding party

Start with the groom four to six months out, so the cloth and style for the party are set. Measure every groomsman and father at least 12 weeks before the date: at the studio, at home, at the venue, or over video if they live out of town. Suits take 6 to 8 weeks to make, and the last four weeks are for final fittings. Fittings at home or the venue →
