Information We Collect
When you submit a booking request or contact form on this website, we collect the personal information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, the address for an at-home fitting, and details about your project. If you subscribe to our newsletter we collect your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name. If you reorder, we also collect the order details you send and fit information such as whether your weight has changed. We also collect basic usage data through analytics tools, and we note which page a request came from, which ad brought you (if any) and any cloth you chose to ask about (see Cookies and Browser Storage below).
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide solely to respond to your inquiry, schedule appointments, and communicate about your custom clothing commission. We do not sell your personal information. We use trusted service providers to run the business, and they may process your information only to provide those services: ActiveCampaign (email and customer records), Square (payments), Resend (website form email), and our garment production partner (your measurements and order details only).
Text Messages and Email
If you give us your mobile number and tick the text-message box, you agree to receive texts from Florida Suit Guy about your appointment and order. Texts and emails come from Aaron personally or through Square, our scheduling and payment provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. We do not share mobile numbers or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing.
If you tick the email box, we will send occasional style notes and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us.
Online Booking
Our booking page is a request form on this website. The details you enter are sent to us by email through Resend, are stored in ActiveCampaign so we can confirm and prepare your appointment, and are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile to filter out automated submissions. Turnstile may process technical information about your browser to do that. We also save with your request the page you were on, the ad details if you arrived from one of our ads (the campaign name and Google’s click ID), and the cloth you asked about on our fabrics page or cloth finder, if you chose one.
Payment Information
Card payments are processed securely through Square. We do not store your card details. We never see or store your card number.
Cookies and Browser Storage
This website uses essential cookies and small settings saved in your browser (local storage) so it works properly. They remember your light or dark choice, whether you closed the newsletter notice or the offer banner, how many times you have visited (so the newsletter notice waits until a second visit), and an offer you clicked (kept up to 14 days).
If you arrive from one of our ads, we save the details in the link, such as the campaign name and Google’s click ID, in your browser for up to 30 days, along with the page you landed on. If you choose a cloth to ask about, on our fabrics page or in the cloth finder, we save that choice for up to 14 days. We use these only to fill in your request when you send it, so we know which ad or cloth you were responding to. You can remove the cloth choice on the booking form, or clear your browser data at any time.
When you press send on a request form, a temporary copy of your entries is kept in your browser’s session storage so that, if something needs fixing, the form comes back filled in. It is deleted when your request goes through or you close the tab, and it stays on your device.
We use analytics tools (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics) to understand how the site is used and to measure whether our ads and forms lead to requests. These may set cookies or collect usage data such as pages visited, device type and which page a request came from. Google Tag Manager also loads Google Ads and Meta (Facebook) advertising tags. These use cookies and similar tools to recognize your browser after you visit this site, so we can show you ads for Florida Suit Guy on other websites and apps, such as Google and Facebook, and measure whether an ad led to a request. We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing information with advertising companies in this way may count as “sharing” under some state privacy laws, so you can opt out. Use the button below, or turn on the Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honor. You can also change your ad settings at Google (adssettings.google.com) and Meta (facebook.com/adpreferences). If what we use changes, we will update this page.
Tracking on this browser: on.
The Instagram photos on the home page are copies stored on this site, and they link to Instagram. Instagram receives nothing from you until you click through. Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our forms from automated submissions, and some embedded content, such as YouTube videos, may set cookies or collect usage data under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies and clear stored data in your browser settings at any time. Doing so does not stop you from using the site or sending a request.
Data Retention
We retain contact and order information for as long as necessary to fulfill your commission and comply with applicable legal requirements. Newsletter subscriptions continue until you unsubscribe.
Your Rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you by contacting us at aaron@floridasuitguy.com.
Children
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
